Terms & Conditions

I. Interpretation 

For the purpose of this agreement, the following terms will have the corresponding meanings:

– “East Anglia Furniture LTD” referred to as “Company”, is incorporated under the laws of England and Wales with the registered number 11661939 and VAT number GB328261995

– “Customer” refers to any individual who initiates an order for the provision of Goods from the Company.

– “Goods” imply any furniture or relevant products supplied by the Company to the Customer.

– “Order” signifies a request initiated by the Customer for the provision of Goods by the Company.

– “Website” denotes the Company’s online platform located at www.EastAngliaFurniture.UK.

 

II. Terms Agreement

Upon initiation of an Order with the Company, the Customer implicitly agrees to adhere to these Terms and Conditions.

 

III. Order Procedure

Orders can be placed with the Company by:

– Following the online instructions on the Website; or

– Contacting the Company via telephone or email to place an Order. 

 

Following Order placement, an Order Confirmation detailing the specifics of the Order, inclusive of Goods’ cost and delivery charges, will be emailed to the Customer. 

For customised products, a 50% deposit is required prior to supplier ordering. Cancellations can be made within 48 hours of order placement, post which the deposit will be forfeited. The Company reserves the right to cancel any order due to reasons such as pricing errors or unavailability of stock.

 

IV. Pricing and Payment

The cost of the Goods is as mentioned on the Website at the time of Order placement and includes VAT at the prevailing rate.

Payment options include:

  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Cash
  • Bank transfer

We endeavour to ensure accurate and current pricing both in-store and online. Any discovered pricing errors will be promptly communicated to you. The Company is not obliged to provide Goods at an incorrect price, even after order acceptance. In such a case, the option to reconfirm at the correct price or withdraw your order will be provided.

 

V. Delivery

Goods will be delivered to the Customer-specified address. The Company aims to deliver Goods within 7 days of the Order Confirmation for in-stock products and local orders, and within 20 days for national orders. Made-to-order products will be delivered within the stated lead time. 

The Company disclaims liability for unavoidable delays due to factors beyond its control. Customers are responsible for inspecting Goods upon delivery for any defects or damages and should inform the Company immediately of any such issues.

 

VI. Warranty

Goods are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the delivery date, with sofa frames enjoying a 5-year warranty. If defects arise within the warranty period, the Company, at its discretion, will repair or replace the Goods.

 

VII. Liability Limitation

Any loss or damage resulting from the supply of Goods is limited to the price of the Goods. The Company is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profits, business, goodwill, or data.

 

IX. Governing Laws

The interpretation of these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.

 

X. Dispute Resolution

Disputes concerning these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
